It gives me immense pleasure to announce that the Department will organise its “Centenary Celebration Program” during 25-27 February 2023. On behalf of the department, I invite all the alumni and well-wishers of the department to support and join us in this flagship event for marking this glorious journey of one of the oldest Chemical Engineering Department in the world. I am hopeful that your august presence and kind co-operation will make this milestone event a great success.
The Chemical Engineering Department, Jadavpur University, established in 1921, is the oldest Chemical Engineering department in India. The Department will organise its “Centenary Celebration Programme” during 25-27 February 2023. After a Grand, day-long Inaugural Ceremony on 25th February, 2023, in presence of eminent dignitaries from Government, Academia and Industries, an Industry-Academia Interaction Program will be held on 26th February, 2023. As a part of the “Centenary Celebration Programme” an International Conference titled “Chemical Engineering Innovations and Sustainability (ICEIS)” will be held during 26-27 February in parallel.
